As the Italian legend goes, a rescued dog named Fido waited patiently for his deceased owner to come home for nearly 14 years. How fitting then, that his name derives from the Latin "fidus," meaning “faithful.”

FIDO mirrors the unwavering faithfulness of our furry companions by making a virtual safety net for missing pets. While it’s capable of sifting through social media and law enforcement feeds for keywords, its real functionality is powered by a user base of passionate pet owners. When a missing pet alert is filed on the app, nearby users are notified and asked to keep an eye out. Users with mobile devices, Nest or Ring doorbells, drones, and other connected devices can share relevant footage. FIDO combines all of this data to form a live map of your pet’s movements.
